Shannon

The founder and owner of West of Yonge Studios. Shannon has been involved in photography since she was young.

"Growing up, my father was a photographer, and I always knew it was something I'd like to pursue. After attending Ryerson University for photography, I took a few years traveling the world. Seeing how so many different people lived, and seeing so many beautiful places really helped me to cherish the small, special, moments in life. I believe it is something that shaped who I am as a person, and as a photographer."

Shannon's wedding photography philosophy is that your wedding day is a wedding first, not a photo-shoot. Her aim is to capture your wedding beautifully while not affecting the way in which it organically unfolds.
